The Mini 3 Pro was released on May 10th 2022 to replace the Mini 2 as the flagship sub 250g drone. Being less than 250g means most aviation authorities don’t require registering drone weighing less than that which opens up the locations as to where I can fly, all be it still governed by certain limitations. This drone has a more advanced camera gimbal which allows it to tilt upwards above the horizontal plane to see what’s above the drone plus rotate 90 degrees so it can film and take photos in portrait mode. The Mini 3 can film on 4K 60fps and has a 48mp sensor for photos with RAW support. It has an approx flight time of 34-38 minutes and can fly approx 16m/s in sport mode.
